Comparing the spiritually lifeless state of the modern American Church to Ezekiel's valley of dry bones, we are reminded that this decline stems from a rigid, rule-based legalism that lost sight of the Gospel's true joy; therefore, authentic renewal will come not from constantly updating structures, but from recovering the joyful, life-giving core of loving God completely and allowing His love to radiate to others.
